Books on Reflexology
There are numerous books written about reflexology. From time to time I will update you with books I have read and provide reviews giving my own opinion to the works.
Beryl Crane - Reflexology The Definitive Practitioner's Manual. A magnificent work which goes into great detail on a full range of subjects including hand and ear, face and head reflexology. A great reference book with clear illustrations, informative text and sharp colour photographs.
Eunice Ingham - Stories the feet can tell and Stories the feet have told thru reflexology. Written by the "Mother of Reflexology" this book is surprisingly easy to read and is informative on which conditions reflex points can help. Useful drawings but the photographs are somewhat dated and unclear. Eunice's sense of humour shines through with some amusing anecdotes relating to her experience.
Inge Dougans with Suzanne Ellis - The Art of Reflexology. This is a comprehensive study which is particularly good on meridians. The early editions have good, clear diagrams. Has information on many different ailments and conditions.
Louise Keet - The Reflexology Bible. This is a good reference book with excellent photographs showing the techniques to be applied to each of the reflex points. There are clear sections on which points to work on for specific conditions.
Louise Tucker - An introductory Guide to Reflexology.2008 An excellent text book written by the author of "An introductory guide to anatomy and physiology" both of which are approved by ITEC. Comes with a useful CD ROM and reflex chart. If anything the photographs for the routine could be improved but a very useful book for any students of reflexology.
Hanne Marquardt - Reflex Zone Therapy Of The Feet.1983 10th edition Written by a German lady who trained with Eunice Ingham. Hanne still lectures and her book has plenty of
interesting information and diagrams, over 30 in colour.
